Hi, Well i had the same problem and I solved it yesterday: Are you starting your GnuGK using some kind of script such as: #!/bin/sh /usr/local/sbin/gnugk -c /usr/local/etc/gnugk.ini
if so, (which was my case), when u start that script, don't hit CTRL-Z or CTRL-C, and do a telnet (either locally, or remotely, depending on ur [GkStatus::Auth] section) to port 7000. It should work...
