Re: Routing Mode Fails...

Hi Kashish,

The log entry that you posted in red occurred long after the real problem.
That was simply your gk telling the originating ep that the call failed.
Perhaps you can find something earlier in the log that shows what went wrong.

Be aware that in simple mode, the gk cannot rewrite any numbers.
In your example, if you dialed, say, 123456, then the gw would receive
123456 in simple mode, but 00123456 in routed mode. And, it's possible
that the gw is rejecting calls to 00123456. Look at the destination
numbers in the incoming Setup (from your ep) and in the outgoing Setup
(to your gw).

If that's not the problem, it's possible that the gw or a firewall is
permitting connections from your endpoint's IP address, but not from
the gk's address.

If that's not it, either, please post more of the log, showing from the
setup sent to the gw, up through the release complete sent from the gw.

Regards,

Stewart

Subject: Routing Mode Fails...

problem.. but when i start the gk in routed mode, it drops the call.. saying
"normalDrop".. I observed the logs.. form that i guess the routing mode fails
and gk doesn't understand what to do with the call...
