Re: about Gnugk-2.2.0 with clarentGK

The latest cvs contains some customizations for the Endpoint section.
It will be possible to specify a "parent gatekeeper vendor type",
which should solve your problem, as I suspect the problem is caused
by some nonstandard fields sent in RRQ messages sent to the parent.

Hi,

Teodor Georgiev wrote:

Dude, your config is completely wrong.

You have configured your gatekeeper to register as an endpoint to a parent
gatekeeper:

[Endpoint]
Gatekeeper=192.168.100.69
Type=Gateway
H323ID=gw23@gw23
TimeToLive=900
RRQRetryInterval=10

Yes, you can do it this way...

At the time time you have routes configured to remote gatekeepers
(neighbours)
and static routes (permanent endpoints). In my opinion, it is not going to
work, because all the outgoing "traffic" will be sent to 192.168.100.69
(your
parent GK).

GnuGK is working with ClarentGK as neighbours. You do not need define permament endpoints...

hi

on Clarent i already put for subscriber
for examples : pin =  gw10@gw10  and pass = gw10@gw10
and lso put on register server for ip gnugk.

As neighbours that configuration is not correct. In clarent database you must configure gnugk as "trusted gatekeeper for h323 location services" (find that topic in Clarent Gatekeeper User Guide). One thing more, there is several restrictions to cooperate gnugk with clarentgk (for example, as I remember, gnugk has to enabled routed mode, and h245routed must be set, etc)...

I see some misunderstanding in your gnugk config. You set 192.168.100.69
as neighbour, and in section [endpoint] you try register gnugk as
gateway to 192.168.100.69??? You mixed two kind connections gnugk in one
solution. You should decide, connect gnugk as gateway to clarentgk OR
connect gnugk and clarentgk as neighbours.

this for config gnugk

[RoutedMode]
GKRouted=1
H245Routed=1
CallSignalPort=1720
CallSignalHandlerNumber=1
RemoveH245AddressOnTunneling=0

[Endpoint]
Gatekeeper=192.168.100.69
Type=Gateway
H323ID=gw23@gw23
TimeToLive=900
RRQRetryInterval=10

[RasSrv::Neighbors]
ss1=ClarentGK

[Neighbor::ss1] GatekeeperIdentifier=ss1 Host=192.168.100.69:1719 Password=gw23@gw23 Dynamic=0 SendPrefixes=* AcceptPrefixes=* ForwardHopCount=2 AcceptForwardedLRQ=1 ForwardResponse=0 ForwardLRQ=always
