The gatekeeper does not perform any media processing.
You can of course implement this, but that's quite a lot of work.

I have 2 queries regarding gnugk.

1) Is it possible to play some RTP to the calling party before the call is connected? (alerts)

2) Is it possible to implement h.450 in gnugk. like forward a call to voicemail if busy or no-answer?

As far as 1st option I tried rtpplay. It works but not so elegant solution. It would be great if it can be done whithin the gatekeeper as the length of the alert and the time taken to connet a call is variable.

2nd option can be implented at the endpoint side. (assuming both parties supports h.450) But it's not working well if the calling party is not registered with gk. Also I am facing problem with h.450 call_forward and fast-start.
If the fast_start is on and a EP A is talking to EP B with openlogicalchannel(g723) and the call is forwarded to EP C where EP C uses codec g729 only then the calling party gets no sound. The rtp channels are not reopened. This works fine if fast-start is off.

Is it possible to implement the call-forward in GK ?
