  Seems to me that you have the same problem I do.
What are your Linux distribution, gcc, make, pwlib, openh323 versions?

Michal taught me to do this:
1. issue 'ulimit -c unlimited'
2. start the program that fails (gnugk)
3. issue 'gdb -core <corefile generated by the seg fault> gnugk'
4. in the command line of gdb issue 'bt'
5. paste the result to someone that know what hs is doing :)
