how to do this. But basically, you need:
1. Compile PWLib/OpenH323/GnuGk using make debug or make debugnoshared.
2. Enable core dumps before launching the gatekeeper (ulimit -c unlimited)
3. If the gatekeeper crashes, load the core dump into gdb (gdb -core CORE_FILE gnugk).
4. Type 'bt' gdb command to print the backtrace.
I could put a latest gnugk linux executable snapshot with symbol information periodically,
but the sourceforge seems to not be the best place to do it, I guess.

If you could generate a debug version and get a backtrace information from a core dump, that would be great.
Can you walk me through? how do I do that? I am running Slackware 10.0.
I will download the latest CVS now and see how it goes. I wish there was a
link on the site to the tar.gz with the dev version since I am browsing in Links right now.

I downloaded some of the PHP scripts that connect to the 7000 port to get
information.
After a few connects GnuGK just shuts down.
scheme: GnuGK computer <-> PHP computer (so it is not connecting on
localhost)
there is no access authorisation on the status port and the PHP script only
connects to port 7000,
sends a PrintCurrentCalls, then closes the connection.
I have tested it and it seems that after 2 fast connects, GnuGK just shuts
down, with no logs whatsoever.
