the mysql website and run VS with the main solution file
(mysql.sln). But you can find mysqlclient subproject in the 'client' subdirectory.
There is a special windows source package at the mysql
website.

Where did you get teh source for libmysqlclient.lib from? I was looking at the mySQL Server source but wasn't able to find something matching (just the libmySQL source but no libmysqlclient source).
