You need to build a static MySQL client library. I do this by compiling libmysqlclient.lib (mysqlclient subproject) and linking this library with GnuGk.

thanks a lot!) i was able to compile the GnuGK with MySQL support (dynamic,
with libmySQL.dll required). As seen on the GnuGK download page, there must
also be a possibility to statically compile GnuGK with MySQL support. Does
anyone know how this might be done?
