Re: Compilation of GnuGK with MySQL STATIC

You need to build a static MySQL client library. I do this
by compiling libmysqlclient.lib (mysqlclient subproject)
and linking this library with GnuGk.

Thanks to the Email Archive of this list (and some help from Jan of course -
thanks a lot!) i was able to compile the GnuGK with MySQL support (dynamic,
with libmySQL.dll required). As seen on the GnuGK download page, there must
also be a possibility to statically compile GnuGK with MySQL support. Does
anyone know how this might be done?

Thanks a lot for your help and a happy new year!

Frank
