I just checked 2.2.x release and screening works perfectly. I guess you must have made some error in the config (did you put Screen options in the right section?) or maybe you use neighbors/parent gatekeeper instead of permanent endpoints. You can always check the gatekeeper log (or use Ethereal) to see that the values have been correctly screened.

I have tested the ScreenXXX by changing the aliase of the openphone and found out that it doesn't get screened by the GK. I still have to set the
CLI of the manually to get authenticated.

Probably you're right. But it also is important to confirm that ScreenXXX is working and your problems are due to missing Calling-Party-Number-IE.
I'd suggest grepping gatekeeper logs and try a few experiments with ohpone/openphone.

I think that makes sense now.. if ScreenXXX doesn't insert CLI if the
orginating endpoint's CLI is not set.. then that must be the reason I'm
not getting the CLI screened as there's no CLI set as the calls hit the GK
to start with.
It would be a good idea for ScreenXXX to work even on endpoints that have
no CLI set as many of them don't.
