In the ViaIP you can define whether the mcu registers its prefixes as gateway type or MCU type. Gateway type is the way you have it configured at the moment. This means that the service prefix requires a unique number extension to create each instance of the conference. MCU type prefixes do not require this extension, however you must define a service for every concurrent conference you want to have. You will find the setting in the 'Protocols' tab, where you define the gatekeeper. Click on the 'advanced settings' button and change the 'MCU registration mode' to MCU and see how you get on. I have two services (10 and 11) configured on the MCU that get registered on the GNUGk. I can call them using my h323 terminal (dialing 10 or 11) but I cannot create directly a new conference like 1001 or 1101. Even if I create explicitly the conference on the MCU I can't dial-in using GNUGk. Has anyone any experience with ViaIP and GNUGk ? Is there a way to tell GNUGk that the MCU doesn't register endpoints aliases but some sort of services aliases ? Thanks for your answers.
