Did you try to use separate config files? Like gnugk1.ini and gnugk2.ini?

In this case of two instances running on same PC and on reload command
Toolkit::Instance()->GKName() is not setting accordingly as GK mingled two

Yes I was also amazed that why this happend but it happened.
even usebroadcastlistner=0. But it happened and I saw in gatekeeper logs
as
well.
