Dynamic IP for Gatekeeper

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

hello everyone,

i am using gnugk-2.0.8 on REDHAT 9.0, 2.4.24-kernel.

both the caller and the callee are able to register with the
gatekeeper and the call is going thru fine. however, the IP addresses
of the machines are dynamically allocated, therefore, the commands
need to be changed from time to time!!!!

is there a way by which an alias can be assigned to the gatekeeper so
that the change in IP address doesnt affect the command and,
therefore, leaves the GUI intact???

plz help as soon as possible. i am in urgent need of a reply!!!

thanks in advance.
cheers,
santanu
