Hi,

The destination GW is probably sending the ringing tone as audio (e.g.
after Progress).  The NAT doesn't know to what private address to
send the audio, until the caller sends some audio out.  But that
won't happen until the called party answers and Connect is
received by the caller.

To fix this you can:

1. Configure the NAT to forward the UDP ports used by your
  endpoint for RTP and RTCP.  Find this from endpoint docs
  or by sniffing.  Or,

2. Configure the endpoint as DMZ.  Or,

3. Set the destination GW to send Alerting, and the calling
  device to play a local ringing tone.  This is not a
  good solution for calls to PSTN, etc., because 'number
  has been changed' and similar announcements will not
  be heard.

I am testing one gateway , i am behind NAT and GK is on public IP, prob is this that i am unable to get ringing tone with this gw but i can hear & talk voice with other person , but no ringing tone. is this bug or what ?
shud i send u logs for this?
