2.2 is supposed to use more threads. General rule is:
A few global threads + CallSignalHandlerNumber threads
+ (for 2.2) variable number of RAS threads depending on load.

I justed upgraded GnuGK from version 2.0.8. to version 2.2beta 5 wth FD_SETSIZE=2048.
and found the starting-up thread reduced from 130 to14. Is version2.2bt suppose to
start up with less thread.

I set callSignalHandler=4. Does that means that we are going to have 2048 * 4 channel to
handle concurrent call?

I am using redhad 7.4 on a  SMP  (with four cpu) machine
