RE: Re: concurrentcalls

Hi,

I experienced that with the use of windows 2000 server and the 64 socket
bottleneck is gone. Proxied calls are consuming bandwith. The limitations
are determined more or less in a relationship between available bandwith,
cpu power, technical network knowledge and different versions and
compilations methods of gnugk.

Tjapko.

Hi,

When you compile Gnugk by default in Windows you will get only 64 sockets
per callsignal handler, so this will be a bottle neck. You will need to
compile PWLib, Openh323, and Gnugk with FD_SETSIZE=512 or some nice higher
number. Also, if you have only 1 processor you can still set callsignaling
handler to a larger number.

Regards,

Freddy

from prev discussion of callsignalhandler on this list I got the idea that
if no of processor is 1 then it will be equal to 1.
I am all asking abt routed mode, few hundred calls are enough.
currently i set it to 1.
