Re: Generic GnuGK problems.

One more thing, hehe.... here is my new config file:

[Gatekeeper::Main]
Fourtytwo=42
TimeToLive=600
NetworkInterfaces=10.42.42.16/24,w.x.y.z/24,127.0.0.1/8,172.16.250.16/24

[RoutedMode]
GKRouted=1
H245Routed=1
CallSignalPort=1721
AcceptUnregisteredCalls=1
SupportNATedEndpoints=1
;AcceptNeighborsCalls=1
Q931PortRange=20000-20249
;TCP
H245PortRange=20250-20449
;TCP

[Proxy]
Enable=1
T120PortRange=20500-20749
;TCP
RTPPortRange=20750-20999
;UDP
ProxyForNAT=1
ProxyForSameNAT=1

[GkStatus::Auth]
rule=allow
Default=allow

--------------------------------------------------------------

I'm forwarding 20000-20749 through, TCP only, and 20750-20999 UDP
only. The connections still don't work, and it looks like GnuGK is
ignoring my port ranges completely.

root@server:~# netstat -anp |grep openmcu
tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:1720            0.0.0.0:*
LISTEN      2396/openmcu
udp        0      0 10.42.42.16:17142       0.0.0.0:*
         2396/openmcu

Here's openmcu's connection which is on the same server as GnuGK, and
it looks like it's using port 17142? Or am I getting this wrong?

baseline:~# netstat -anp |grep ohp
tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:1720            0.0.0.0:*
LISTEN     1491/ohphone
tcp        0      0 10.42.42.249:32783      10.42.42.16:1721
ESTABLISHED1491/ohphone
udp        0      0 10.42.42.249:5002       0.0.0.0:*
        1491/ohphone
udp        0      0 10.42.42.249:5003       0.0.0.0:*
        1491/ohphone
udp        0      0 10.42.42.249:32788      0.0.0.0:*
        1491/ohphone

Above is ohphone connecting to ConferMCU, it's on the same network as
the GnuGK, but on a different computer. I noticed none of those ports
are in the 20,000 range. I'm not sure what's going on :p.

And here is ohphone on the non-GnuGK network, connected to the
gatekeeper, but can't reach ConferMCU for "some reason".

LocalComp:~# netstat -anp |grep ohp
tcp     0     0 0.0.0.0:1720             0.0.0.0:*
LISTEN   7927/ohphone
udp     0    0 10.10.10.156:1060     0.0.0.0:*
    7927/ohphone

Is there something blatantly obvious that I'm missing? I run gnugk
with this command:

gnugk -ttttt -c /path/proxy.ini -rr

Ohphone has a "-p" option to define a proxy, but it doesn't seem to
change the outcome of the connection, maybe I'm not understanding
proxies very well....any help is appreciated.
