Cisco and Gatekeeper Routed Mode

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hi all,

I recently started experimenting with openh323 gatekeeper. I only have
one problem related to my testing environment. The Cisco is in Direct
Routing mode and the Voice application we are using (Swyx) is only able
to talk in Gatekeeper Routed Mode. So my question is whether it is
possible to put the Cisco in Gatekeeper Routed Mode?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I seem to be unable to find any
info on this on the Cisco site.

Regards, Rene Wijnings

Subject:  Perm end points

i discovered something i found interesting

in section

[RasSrv::PermanentEndpoints]
# For gateway
10.0.1.5=Citron;009,008

if i change this to include another , after example 008 (now says 008,)
.
if have additional endpoints defined as above and dialed number does not
match
any other gateway it will send the call to this route. i think maybe the

ending comma with no digits may allow GK to apply the routing rule to
this
endpoint.
i wonder what would happen if i had 2 routes that had an additonal ,
after
prefix, would it choose the first one?

just curious mostly.
regards
ray
