Re: multiple endpoints for same prefixes.

Hi again,

It is not meaningfull I think.

There should be a way to do it!
What can be the solution?
1- Changing gnugk code, to try?
2- Or at least, checking endpoint location via SQL result!? (bad ASR => change it!)

I want to add this support, anyway I can do.
before start, have any idea about ?

I think, it should return all information with diconnect cause, and system says disconnect/try this one(may be again).
Of course with a limit!

OnCallFails=stop|tryagain|askNewLocation
OnCallFailsMaxTry=0..10
[askNewLocation]
Driver=MySQL|PostgreSQL
Hostname=
DBName
User=
Pwd=
Query= <= alias, gk, called number, disconn cause, EP alias which tried ...

;)

No, it's currently not possible. If the call fails,
no other destinations are tried.

Hi list,

Is it possible multiple endpoints for SAME prefix with gnugk? or NOT.

for example, for the called number, 282123456789
for prefix 282, send call to GW1 with priority 1
for prefix 282, send call to GW2 with priority 2
for prefix 282, send call to GK1 with priority 3
for prefix 282, send call to GK2 with priority 4
   OR getting the endpoint alias via SQL Query ?

Is it possible with gnugk?

it can be done by checking LRQ, L...Q ??
