Isn't there any way to limit the call duration without a radius server? What we want is to establish a global call timeout (i.e.: no call can last longer than 30 minutes, and we do not perform authentication) -----Original Message----- From: Zygmuntowicz Michal [mailto:m.zygmuntowicz@xxxxxxx] Sent: Monday, May 03, 2004 1:17 PM To: openh323gk-users@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: pre-paid/callduration Timer logic is implemented and is working fine. Everything you need is a radius server and RadAuth/RadAliasAuth module to enable the gatekeeper to control and enforce call duration limits. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nour Omar" <nouromar@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Sunday, May 02, 2004 8:58 PM > I'm new to this list so forgive me for my newbie questions. > I read that gnugk has pre-paid support, so I was wondering if that means the gatekeeper has the capabability to set a timer and disconnect the call when the callduration of that particular call is exceeded? Or is it that an external command has to be sent to gk(maybe through the status port) to disconnect the call. I understand that callduration can be set by Authenticators such as RadAuth model. > I was going through the code but I could not find where a timer logic is implemented. > > I would appreciate your answer. > > thank you in advance. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: Oracle 10g Get certified on the hottest thing ever to hit the market...
