Dear Craig,

Yeah, sorry  I already corrected myself. I have some doubts maybe you can
help me out. Does Cphone run on w32 as a client? I just checked myphone and
this is just openphone in another wrapping using g723 and g729. My question
is if the use of these patented codecs are without risk in a operational
environment. Is this legal? Do you know this?

To me the only real openh323 phone source code that works under w32 is
openphone. About the patented codecs is well explaind.

This is not correct. There is also myphone and cphone.

openphone does not come with any patented codecs that are able to be
used without a license. The G.729 codec that can be used with OpenPhone
is the VoiceAge demonstration codec. The G.723.1 codec is the Windows
ACM codec. Neither of these are free to use.
