If this is not caused by network problems (broken tcp connections), it would mean Nextone is a very misbehaving (broken) endpoint. But if you have call setup like this: EP1---GK---EP2 then RC may be sent: 1) from EP1 to EP2, or 2) from EP2 to EP1, or 3) from GK to EP1 and EP2. so the RC message can originate from the three different sources. So your Nextone does not have always to be the RC originator.
