Hello there.

Thanks a lot for your help.

May I ask you some further questions?

How can clients log onto my gatekeeper which is behind a NAT firewall out of the WAN?

I have never changed the config file of the gatekeeper!

Which ports have to be forwarded?

Thanks in advance

Kindest regards

Björn

All my parent child gatekeepers are running through VPN's using WIndows 2000. Also there were required the childs update the main Mysql Database through a VPN because the mysql data was very visible in the past for a hacker.

So for W2000 and gnugk 2.0.7 I have no problems.

I have no clients logging on to a gatekeeper through a VPN because I think this is not the way it should work.

Check in your situation if you have a firewall or other device that is blocking traffic. Check the log of the VPN if there is something strange in it.

Subject: VPN windows 2003 Server

Hello.

Problem connecting with GNU GK over VPN.

I would like to connect through VPN from my XP Professional Laptop onto my Windows Server 2003.

Gatekeeper is running on this machine.

Sometimes it works and sometimes not.

Any solutions?

Kindest regards

Björn
