If you want to use 'LdapAliasAuth' you'll need an LDAP server to authenticate against too. The latest CVS 2.0.7 code has a simple (single threaded) LDAP password and alias authentication module for windows, that has been tested with NM. I believe the similar LINUX implementation works as well, since Michal fixed it some 10 days ago.
