Hi, Well for me it is just not clear how VoIP terminal/gateway will behave after it gets RCF with diferent values than it was specified in it's RRQ? Let's say we are talking about Cisco ATA. It has number "111" assigned to it's line 1. It sends RRQ with "111" gets ARQ with "222" value. Does H.323 standard specify that terminal should assign this new number to the line 1? If ATA will not reassign its internal numbering the call will be dropped so the modified RCF is as good as RRJ. Gateways might have bigger flexibility since they deal with prefixes rather than specific numbers but still the call will fail if gw will not have rule for gk's assigned destination. So I'm wondering what is better - to deny RRQ with wrong prefix or to rewrite ARQ and end up with gw receiving calls it does not know how to handle ? :/ Julius -----Original Message----- From: Zygmuntowicz Michal [mailto:m.zygmuntowicz@onet.pl] Sent: Wednesday, January 07, 2004 8:16 PM To: openh323gk-users@lists.sourceforge.net Subject: Re: E.164 h323-ivr-in VSA from radius will be used to add/remove aliases from RRQ. Something like: RRQ { "myh323id", "01234" } when RadAuth/RadAliasAuth receives h323-ivr-in it will be examined: Access-Accept { ... Cisco-AV-Pair = "h323-ivr-in=terminal-alias:myh323id,48586259732;" ... } Then the alias 01234 will not be registered and the alias 48586259732 will be added: RCF { "myh323id", "48586259732" } The registration table will contain updated aliases. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Nir Simionovich" <nirs@m-wise.com> Sent: Wednesday, January 07, 2004 5:15 PM > Hi Guys, > > Care to explain the patch at hand?
