Well, in that case, tell me this: I've got 4 clients working with
Quintum CMS boxes, none of which can go and inter-op correctly with a
simple Cisco AS5350 box. I was wondering why that was, and the only
conclusion I reached is this: Codec Mis-Implementation. The g729 codec
on the Quintum box is marked as g729ab, which means annex a and b
complient. Now, if you were to lock the g729r8 codec on the Cisco (this
is what most VoIP carriers use), the Quintum will not be able to
negotiate the codec correctly. I've seen this in dozens of cases.

Well, if you ever managed to inter-op Quintum and a Cisco correctly,
I would appreciate getting the exact recepie for that, as I've been
battling this for a couple of months now, with no success.
