Inbound calling woes...

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hey all...

We've been running 2.0.6 for about 2 months now for our outbound
calling, and it works like a charm...

Now we're running inbound traffic and have come to a huge problem:

Here is our basic network

---> xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx ----> Linux ----> 192.168.11.6 ----> 192.168.11.3
hlx_quintum (Quintum CMS) ---> Harris ----> regular world

Traffic comes in from the outside world to a linux box (NOT behind a
firewall.. But suitably protected) and then gets into our internal
network through a second NIC on the linux box which is inside the
firewall, goes to a quintum router and then out to the regular world
through a harris...that at least is the theroy!

What is happening is everything SEEMS to work, except for the fact that
NOBODY can hear anything. The inbound IP (tested from client and an
external IP phone) can send DTMF through, that works.. But the "CALLED"
party cannot send the DTMF through to the IP client...

Even though the DTMF works one way, the voice doesn't. Nothing back and
forth at all.

The REAL annoying part is calls originating Harris -> Quintum -> GK ->
3rd Party works perfectly!

Any ideas? I'm stumped!

TIA
Derrick Bradbury
