And for the aliasauth the RasSrv::RRQAuth section the manual is fine and explanatory but to put this same address rule also in the IP table info of the Mysql base when using MySQLAliasAuth...hmmmmm I think the manual can have an update on this........
It is working fine now...

1.. Is there an interpretation error in the above? If yes please explain.
2.. Does MySQLAliasAuth work in combination with RedHat 9 and gnugk 2.05
3.. Is there a special need to set up the mysql tables with a special
format?
4.. Does anybody has a solution??????
Hi, I just solved this problem.
after looking into gkauth.cxx I found out that you need to put IP address in MySQL database as:
sigip:10.1.1.1:port
or
sigaddr[...] (as is described in manual for alias auth )
If you do that it will work fine.
