Hi all, I have been trying to install gnugk with mysql support under red hat 9, but I did'nt succed. I have already installed it under red hat 8 with mysql support, but I realized that the installation of MySQL rpm files has its diference when installed under red hat 8 and red hat 9. Many of the headers have its location exchanged. Has anyone tried to install gnugk with mysql support under red hat 9 ? Packages used for red hat 8 and 9: MySQL-3.23.55-1.i386.rpm MySQL-client-3.23.55-1.i386.rpm MySQL-devel-3.23.55-1.i386.rpm MySQL-shared-3.23.55-1.i386.rpm mysql++-1.7.9-1.i386.rpm compat-libstdc++-7.3-2.96.110.i386.rpm (for red hat 9) compat-libstdc++-6.2-2.9.0.16.i386.rpm (for red hat 8) gk-2.0.5.tgz and gk-2.0.3.tgz for example: In red hat 8, mysql.h is on /usr/local/include/ In red hat 9, mysql.h is on /usr/include/mysql/ I tried to create links and even tried to move the files that were installed in different directories, but nothing worked.
