Hello enthousiasts, Every once in a while this issue regarding scoping and
performance pops up. Isn't there a workgroup to attack this issue? There are
a lot of dependencies that require a lot of attention to successfully run a
gnugk with a lot of simultanious users when running on W2000. So for me it
is of no use when you say 512 is better. You can buy a AMD Athlon Duron 1.3
GHz with 2 Gb memory for under 200 bucks these days. Bottom line; I am
willing to participate in a workgroup and even to offer my platform to set
up a benchmark using freaky tools to determine the can's and can't , do's
and don'ts and reveal some mysteries that are out there regarding
dimensioning and performance and tuning gnugk platforms.
Thanks, Tjapko....
