Hello enthousiasts, Every once in a while this issue regarding scoping and performance pops up. Isn't there a workgroup to attack this issue? There are a lot of dependencies that require a lot of attention to successfully run a gnugk with a lot of simultanious users when running on W2000. So for me it is of no use when you say 512 is better. You can buy a AMD Athlon Duron 1.3 GHz with 2 Gb memory for under 200 bucks these days. Bottom line; I am willing to participate in a workgroup and even to offer my platform to set up a benchmark using freaky tools to determine the can's and can't , do's and don'ts and reveal some mysteries that are out there regarding dimensioning and performance and tuning gnugk platforms. Thanks, Tjapko.... ----- Original Message ----- From: "Teodor Georgiev" <teodor@egvrn.net> To: <openh323gk-users@lists.sourceforge.net> Sent: Tuesday, July 22, 2003 4:29 AM Subject: Re: [Openh323gk-users] GK PC > > > IMHO, at least 256MB RAM (512MB will be better) with 1GHz CPU. > However it is Windows = hard to predict. > > > > On Tuesday 22 July 2003 10:13, Jonina wrote: > > Thanks Mark for the defense, And Teodor for the questions... > > Running in routed mode, > > Say 60 simultaneous calls. > > > > Jonina Ezrahi > > Comm.Calm > > > > > > ----- Original Message ----- > > From: "Marc Williams" <marcw@onlymooo.com> > > To: "gk list" <openh323gk-users@lists.sourceforge.net> > > Sent: Tuesday, July 22, 2003 1:30 AM > > Subject: Re: [Openh323gk-users] GK PC > > > > > If you had just omitted your first sentence, your response would have > > > been much better, imho. > > > > > > On Mon, 2003-07-21 at 09:09, Teodor Georgiev wrote: > > > > A dumb question.
