Re: [Openh323gk-users] Quintum A400/A800 with GnuGK

Hi,

Sorry to interrupt, but I remember testing GNUGK (some version in 1.x)

quintum A800/ A400
AS5300 cisco
Netmeeting,
ATA186

Everything worked fine for me. I used Gnugk in routing mode and non-routing modes. i even used their
frontend to see the calls going through. i even used their CDR program to get the cdr's.

We have deployed about 300 ports with quintum outside usa and in usa we have about 10 T's running
with digital quintum boxes. We have their callrelay with 120 call capacity. The problem we had

1. with cms : calls hanging and require a reboot every two days

2. with callrelay : calls hanging and require a reboot every two days.

if the network is bad or gets disconnected, quintum cannot handle that situation and hangs that call
on A800 or cms or callrelay.

A800 / A400 / Digital Tenors (T1/E1) are the best products from quintum and they work very good.

shree

Give it up...Qunitum sucks. We've tried to contact them with our proof that their junk is broken, but we never got a response.

Flebay that garbage and look into http://www.asterisk.org/ You will thank me later.

Was someone able to place successfully calls from Quintum A400/A800 which is registered as a gateway to GnuGK (through its h323gw config submenu) ?
It seems that I can not. GnuGK 2.05, latest quintum firmware.

When ran in debug mode, GnuGK cries a Q.931 message "No circuit/channel available ", however when trying the same destination with other GW (ATA-186 or openphone, or whatever) it goes fine.
