hi

thanx for the fast response.

for now, i set up a gatekeeper that routes all traffic from internal nat to outside. works great for clients with public ips in the internet. for that i uses proxy.ini.

so what i want is that clients with private ips (natted) can join my gatekeeper which currently not works.

i beleive that it cant work due to this line out of the manual:
"Note to make proxy work, the gatekeeper must have direct connection to both networks of the caller and callee."
the gatekeeper simply does not have a direct connection to the OhPhones.
in my case the gatekeeper has only direct connection to the nat boxes (not to caller and callee!)

so the question again: are you really sure that this works althogh the line in the manual manual?

here again is what i want:

/----------\ LAN /-----\ /----------\ /---------------------\ | OhPhone1 |-----------| NAT |---| INTERNET |----| OpenH323 Gatekeeper | | priv.IP | | |pubIP| \----------/ | pub.IP, no firewall | \----------/ | \-----/ | \---------------------/ | | | | /--------------\ | /-----\ | anyOtherHost |---| | NAT | | priv.IP | |pubIP| \--------------/ \-----/ | | | | /----------\ LAN | /--------------\ | OhPhone2 |---------| anyOtherHost | | priv.IP | | priv.IP | \----------/ \--------------/

note that the gatekeeper can only establish connections to the nat boxes and NEITHER! directly to the caller NOR! to the callee.

if you can give me a positive answer please let me know which .ini directives are important to set up this.

thanx, regards, armin.

my big question is: DO OhPhone1 AND OhPhone2 REACH EACH OTHER (via the
OpenH323 Gatekeeper)?
