OK, last post. A lot of what I said was based on my understanding that people
can check in non-trivial changes to Classpath without formal approval or review.

Apparently I was wrong, and if anyone would kindly show me the evidence of this
formal approval process, I'd appreciate it. I've just reread
http://www.gnu.org/software/classpath/docs/hacking.html#SEC10 and I didn't
see any mention of it.
