I found a Gnome extension which might be able to do this: https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/10/windownavigator/ I've installed it with the on/off-button at the top right corner. The problem is, how do I open or activate this extension? When I type <ctrl>- <some number>, like mentioned in the above page, nothing happens. Logging out and in has no effect. Bye, Volker
