Hello,
 opensuse v12.2
 linux v3.4.6-2.10-desktop x86_64
gnome desktop v3.4? (I guess, how do I find out?)

I recently updated the OS. I had a weather extension that showed the
current temperature and sky condition. It is no longer functioning in
the new version.
I searched for how to create an extension. Such knowledge appears to
be well hidden.
I browsed through the gnome users docs. It talks about adding the
"Weather Report" but apparently it is for earlier versions of Gnome
which had "panels".
A general web search turned up loads of apps ... for almost every OS
ever created except linux.

So. Where are the weather apps/extensions? There are none at Gnome
Extensions. Zilch! Is it really so hard to make a weather app?
