found on Ubuntu 12.04 using xrandr
–output VGA-1 –scale 0.8x0.8, then get the screen
info you can found:

axis y axis) 338mm x 270mm

in Ubuntu 11.10 using xrandr –output VGA-1 –scale 0.8x0.8,
then get the screen info you can found:

found the difference caused by one gnome API, gnome-setting-demon, it call ProcRRSetScreenSize after xrandr API to
resize the desktop size, Does it reasonable ????
