Hello,

I want to try out gnome3 on my current OS. However, http://www.gnome.org/getting-gnome/ only lists either LiveCD or USB approach.

How can i switch from my current 2.22.1 Gnome to Gnome3?

I assume i will have to build & install from source. http://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/

Is their any documentation for Gnome3's compiling & installation?

OS: gNewSense - Deltah - x86.

You should contact the developers at gNewSense about their plans for GNOME3.

If they have no plans, and you want to stick to gNewSense, you can compile GNOME3 using the instructions at
https://live.gnome.org/GnomeShell
