Thanks for the suggestions, Joanie, but introducing such unnatural
workarounds such as dwell click is not better than the original
problem. Although it would solve the problem of painful double clicks,
it is unnatural, cumbersome, and influent to have "dwell" or "delayed"
clicking. Every other desktop environment has a single-click mode that
is intuitive, easy to use, and provides immediate feedback and
response.
