Googling "Ubuntu desktop", I found - http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=203093. I am sure there is a Mac desktop theme for Ubuntu somewhere - just Google for it.
You will probably find more Ubuntu-specific information and faster help for Ubuntu in the Ubuntu forums than the Gnome forums.

However, I would prefer a much cleaner desktop, more akin to Mac OS X. I have seen desktops that look like this but cant find a way to create that look.
