Do the keys in gconf-editor for Nautilus and the gnome-panels change between
releases?

They do change, but (in theory, at least) not gratuitously. If a key name has changed, it should only be because the feature has changed in such a way that the old key can't support the new feature.

It sets the keys that put the home folder, volumes, etc on your desktop. It works great on my computer, but other people are having things not work.

I wondered if it was becuase the keys have changed between 2.22 and 2.24?

Hmm, AFAICT, those key names haven't changed in 2.24...

Cheeri,
Calum.
