I'm running RHEL5 Desktop edition with GNOME 2.16 and I need to remove the GNOME default Menu Bar from the panel in order to hide all the options under the System, Places, and Applications menus. I've created my own custom menu and I now want to add the Logout button to it. Does anyone know how to do this?
I originally thought I could create my own menu entry which could initiate a logout, but based on Bug 118091 (http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=118091 ), it seems that this is not yet possible.
Thanks,
Alfredo
