gnome-terminal and tabs (from command line)

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Hello gnome-list,

In "gnome-terminal" --help I see, when
it talks about --tab,

"Open a new tab in the last-opened window with the Open a new tab in the
last-opened window with the default profile."

But when I open a gnome terminal, and then run from it
gnome-terminal --tab, I see that a new window is opened.

Can I open a new tab *** from the command line*** in the same window
from gnome-terminal window, as is done by : File->Open Tab->Default ?

(ctrl/shift/t)

I am running FC5.

Regards,
John
