the file is similar to mine.

have no idea what happened.

if *nothing* happened after click on `(foot)Applications' button, then
maybe the built is incomplete, i think i would rebuild libgnome if it
was me.

and ldconfig is somewhat important. maybe there are old libs exist on
you system, if the built packages is installed on a non-standard
prefix( other than /usr/local ), then LD_LIBRARY_PATH as also needed.
