Trying to get gDesklets up and running.
Running gdesklets yields:
Starting gdesklets-daemon...
Connecting to daemon [ ### ]You need a recent version of PyGTK to run this program.
Cannot establish connection to daemon: timeout!
The log file might help you solving the problem.
I already have pygtk-2.4.1 and -2.6.2.
Running gdesklets check yields:
- xml.parsers.expat ... found
Version check failed.
libexpat version 1.95.7 is broken. Please upgrade!
I already had expat-1.95.8, but I tried upgrading to expat-2005-01-28
which gave the same thing.
Any pointers on how to proceed?
