-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi! My alsa sound card driver has a wonderfully useful feature - The 'master' volume is not master at all, and in fact adjusts the builtin speaker volume, and nothing else (Hooray!) Consequently, gnome's hotkey-activated volume control does nothing, as I don't use the builtin speakers. I've configured the panel volume control applet to use PCM, which does the trick, but I can't for the life of me work out how to do the same for the hotkey control. Does anyone have any ideas? Alternatively.. Has anyone had a similar alsa issue, and worked out a way to make the master volume control actually do what it's meant to? Oh, OSX, sometimes I pine for thee.. ;) Thanks, guys =) Mike - -- Mike Tyson <mike@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> M: (+61) 0407 754 124 W: http://tzidesign.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.5 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFCugsk/eih+gEb7pQRAi8YAJ4zZu3zS3AmHxgXPw/Zv2tdcv5wygCgup6W GyMTv+PNuB6bKfR1joG5u3Q= =cVk9 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ gnome-list mailing list gnome-list@xxxxxxxxx http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-list
