It you have tried to search the list, then you would have found a solution..!
Try running gst-register-0.8 as root... (and log out and in again..)
Thanks for your help. It works. But it seems i have to do this after every reboot, is that normal?

Also, alsamixer works fine and i can play mp3 files with xmms.
Any ideas?
