What command does a solaris gnome (2.0) user type to create a menu panel?

We're using solaris 8 and its bundled gnome. I've tried looking in
the docs, but either am not finding the info, or what I'm finding isn't
being understood as what I need.

We have occasionally a need to provide to a user a command to re-create
their menu panel, due to the unfortunate behavior of metacity/gnome-panel
allowing it to be deleted.

What would the command line command be to create this panel?
Are there arguments to remove the gnome-terminal and the Nautilis launcher
from the default menu panel?
