I was asking around on IRC about this. One solution is simply to ask the original creators for their permission to use them in this way. Apparently all but one are by tigert or jimmac. I think adding @ximian.com onto each of those names will get you the email addresses.
(The remaining one is a composite of the others.)
Since the GPL FAQ at http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-faq.html is almost 100kb long, this is probably your best bet if you are pressed for time.
