Nautilus core files

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Good Morning,

We're running RedHat 7.3, stock out of the box with no updates. This
included gnome-nautilus 2.2.1. What we're seeing is that on login, nautilus
will generate sometimes as many as ten core files. If I attach the debugger
to these files, of course there isn't really any debug info but what I get
is:

20_ !gdb
gdb nautilus core.3202
GNU gdb 6.0
Copyright 2003 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
GDB is free software, covered by the GNU General Public License, and you are

This GDB was configured as "i686-pc-linux-gnu"...
(no debugging symbols found)...
Core was generated by `nautilus start-here: -g 600x410+150+100
--sm-client-id default8'.
Program terminated with signal 11, Segmentation fault.
#0 0x40bd0dc4 in ?? ()
(gdb)

Can someone point me in a direction to fix this problem?

Thanks!

-brian
