By the way, if you do this, you will need to run "intltoolize -f -c"
inside the untarred libgnome-2.5.3 directory. Tarballs do not care what
version of intltool is installed on your system -- they always use their
built in copy. So you need to update the built-in scripts with the above
command.

Alternatively, wait for libgnome-2.5.4, which should be out shortly if
our release schedule is to be believed.
