Hello Gnome fans!

All gnome-terminal windows are managed by the same process (this is very good resource-wise, for example...) Of course, this has the consequence that if `one' of them dies, they all go down with it. [*]

Ah I see. Thank you for clear answer here. Was wondering what the dependency might be between (as Ithough) independed running programs

I hope you did file a bug with information about that crash in
http://bugzilla.gnome.org, so that we can fix it.

I saw that newer version was avaible on gnome ftp so I will first update mine, then will see if I can reproduce it (mine version was 2.4.0.1)

[*] Note that if you really want to have several gnome-terminal
processes, you can run gnome-terminal with its --disable-factory command
line option.

As I understand it will start terminal as independed processes right?

Thank you very much for this kind and full answer! :)
